What is a midi file you might ask?
It's a file format from the 90s containing the notes, instruments, and other inner workings of a song.
They were often used for the soundtracks of computer games from the 90s like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D, etc.
Most composers nowadays hardly ever use the file format, but there is still a cult following
of people who use it to make note for note replicas of songs just for the fun of it (Me included :D).
